Huskies Add to 2018 Roster

Duluth, Minn. – The Duluth Huskies Baseball Club is excited to announce the additions of Trevin Esquerra (1B, OF) from San Diego, California, and Tanner Tokunaga (OF) from Waipio, Hawaii, to the 2018 roster.

Trevin Esquerra is a 6′ 1″ sophomore coming from Loyal Marymount University. He was a 2016 graduate of Patrick Henry High School. In his high school ball career, he earned All-Eastern League honors as a senior, hit .446 with nine home runs, 32 RBI, 26 runs scored and a .531 on-base percentage as a senior, and led the league in home runs, RBI, slugging and on-base percentage. In his first year at Loyal Marymount, he appeared in 37 games producing a .209 batting average with 14 runs scored, 12 RBI, collecting six doubles, a triple, and two home runs.

Tanner Tokunaga is a 5’7″ junior from Hawaii Pacific University. Tokunaga played high school ball at Pearl City High School. There, he was selected to the OIA First-Team for the 2012-2014 seasons and was selected to the 2014 First Team All-State Team. In 2016 at Hawaii Pacific University, he had a .297 batting average and scored 48 runs bringing in seven doubles, one triple, and 17 stolen bases.
